General Note: If you are submitting this info to a person/group in order for them to add it to a database, you can skip the transcription of some things, and leave it to them. But it can make the process smoother if you do the transcription yourself. | General Note: If you are submitting this info to a person/group in order for them to add it to a database, you can skip the transcription of some things, and leave it to them. Hashes Note: For NoNpDrm, as the "ROM" consists of a folder multiple sub-folders and files, you will want to use the "dir2dat" function of [[https://mamedev.emulab.it/clrmamepro/|clrmamepro]] with [[https://datomatic.no-intro.org/stuff/example_dir2dat.jpg|these]] settings, in addition to making sure "Set-Subfolder Mode", "Keep Archives as Files", and "Keep CHDs as ROMs" are ticked. Currently there is no solid solution for creating "recursive" datfiles that supports SHA256, so don't worry about SHA256 being mentioned below. | Hashes Note: For NoNpDrm, as the "ROM" consists of a folder multiple sub-folders and files, you will want to use the "dir2dat" function of clrmarepro with [[https://dumping.guide/_media/clrmamepro_dir2dat_directory_hashing.png|clrmamepro_dir2dat_directory_hashing.png]] settings. Make sure the directory structure you want to hash is in an empty folder, and point clrmamepro towards that folder. Currently there is no solid solution for "directory hashing" that supports SHA256, so you can leave that out. |
