If you have a Wii or Wii U with the Homebrew Channel installed, dumping Gamecube, Wii, and Wii U discs is simple and easy.
The Redump.org team has done a fantastic job at documenting how to properly dump and gather information about disc-based Nintendo systems:
Note that it is a good idea to record the serials and ringcodes (through scans/photos if possible), even if you aren't submitting the disc to redump.
